Last month I went to the Anti-Ageing Show (as you should know by my series of posts!) and I met so many new brands and have had lots of products to test out. One of which was the lovely new Rajeunir Beauty Range. ‘Rajeunir’ comes from the French ‘to rejuvenate’ and is a beauty brand based on looking after your skin. Whatever your age.
I really like the fact that Rajeunir was born from the thought that why can’t women look great without the media adding phrases or those backhanded compliments such as ‘she looks good for her age’. I totally empathize with this and the phrase ‘pretty for a big girl’. Why can’t people just look good or look pretty regardless? So I totally love where the idea of Rajeunir came from.
At the moment they have 4 great products which are a moisture serum, shampoo, and conditioner and lip serum. I can’t wait to give the hair care a try but first I wanted to share a little review on the lip serum. A must have product to be honest. My problem is that whenever there is a change in weather I get the sniffles and for the past couple of years, the summer season has meant hay fever overload! Sore lips and nose ahoy! I’ve used the majority of lip lotions and potions out there so it was only right I used this over the past couple of weeks where hay fever has been super high in the UK.
I love that this product is a serum, it means it’s instantly going to have a silky after touch and this didn’t disappoint. The bottle has a great dispenser that gives you the perfect amount of clear gel for both lips. If anything, it’s a little generous so only have a pump would probably do.
The serum makes my lips feel instantly supple and soothed. They feel super moisturized and soft. The serum isn’t shiny or sticky AT ALL. I guess that’s the perks of a serum. It turns almost matt like. The Rajeunir lip serum contains plant serum and SPF protection which is great to prevent lips from looking aged and helping to restore them back to health. The bottle is small enough to pop in my bag and it’s a handy product for every day lip care or if you suffer in summer like me!
It’s £12.00 for a 5ml bottle which will last a good while as you only need a little bit. Is Rajeunir an anti-ageing product? Well no, it’s a product to make the most of your skin whatever your age, helping to keep it smooth, supple and making the best of what you have.
