As you know from my last posts and tweets I recently went to the Anti-Ageing Health & Beauty Show 2014 and one of the great exhibitors there was SK:N. They had a team of experts there talking about skincare, signs of ageing and something I found really interesting were their their skin peels. My skin is pretty good to be honest, but the skin peels they offer are for everyone and I couldn’t help but do a little more research into it just to see if there was something to help keep my skin in good condition.
Generally the skin peels they offer are made to have an instant effect and are made to reduce blotchy patches, eliminate sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles. The peels also help to improve acne, scars and remove dead skin cells. It is supposed to leave your skin feeling and looking fresh, young and silky which sounds just like a facial to me! The peels take between 15 and 20 minutes which is really quick and SK:N say that you’ll see results in just one treatment. After reading that the InnerPeel is really gentle and can be used for so many skin treatments it’s definitely made m think of skin peels differently.

The one thing I wasn’t sure on is if it would hurt, but SK:N assures that there is no pain and all their staff are trained experts. Basically a skin peel works by rubbing the skin with a non-toxic solution which removes the dead top layer of skin. A bit like exfoliation. It encourages the new skin underneath to develop and shine through.
SK:N offer face peels from £80 which I think is a great price. You can pay that for a decent facial so why not get even better results? I’d like to give it a try and it’s nice to get all your questions answered by people that know what they are talking about.
