As I’ve said a few time now,I’ve reduced my beauty box subscriptions to just 1 or 2 (or 3!) and Birchbox is one of the beauty boxes which I have kept. I like the surprise every month and so far it hasn’t let me down. It’s a little quirky and every box is completely different.
The December edition is all about Festive Fixers. Those things to add an extra special zing to your beauty routine for some Christmas sparkle.
What’s In The Box?
This month I received the usual pack of visual cards which are always quite interesting and fun. This month Birchbox gave me some Christmas tags (great for last minute Christmas wrapping!) An agenda of Winter Wonderland events to keep me occupied during the winter season and a hair tutorial. The cards replaced a monthly glossy magazine and I quite like the edge to it.
I got 6 products in total in my December Birchbox which is a nice little amount.

My fave item from the December box?
It has to be the Korres Citrus Shower gel. It smells divine and has this really gloopy texture which lathers up amazingly. The one I am really intrigued to try but haven’t yet is the Nail Rock Nail Velvet manicure set. It’s an amazing purple and think it’s going to look great at a Christmas party. Of course I will update you when and if I use it!
I really want to get to grips with the Twistband hair tie. Birchbox were lovely enough to give us a tutorial in the box but I always struggle! Any tips greatly received! I love the look of the infinity bun and I will succeed.
I am impressed with the December Birchbox. As far as a beauty box goes this one always has a variety of products. In this one I received make up, nail care, hair care and face care! Another happy month!
