I still stand by what I say every month, the You Beauty Discovery Box is still my favourite beauty box. At only £6.95 including postage, this is my 6th one and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
Februarys box is all about Red Carpet Glamour. Those luxurious treats which are made to make you look and feel your best. There were lots to choose from in the boutique. (They let you choose 2 items yourself and then send you 2 little surprises). This box was a little flatter than normal but with the same usual great products. Was it me or did the box smell REALLY nice? I’m sure they had sprayed some sort of fragrance in there. It was lovely!
Firstly I opted for the GlamGlow Youthmud – £49.99 for 50ml / £24.99 for 50ml. It’s a Tinglexfoliate (love this word) treatment which you apply as a mask and it exfoliates while giving you a radiant complexion. As soon as I use it I will be giving you the low down. Very excited to give this one a go.

My second choice was Stila Lip Glaze in Kaleidoscope – £16.00. I haven’t had a Stila lip gloss before so I gave this a go. It is SUPER thick and really glittery. Think this a night out sort of lip glaze I think. Not the normal slap on at work sort of thing but you can never have too much lip stuff right?
I was also surprised with a large sachet of Charles Worthington Instant Amplifying Volume Treatment . This will go down a treat on my hair which is really fine and flat. I always opt for volumising products so this is a great one for me. I’ve read so much about this so ‘m chuffed I get to see how it works for me before buying a full size bottle.
What I love about the You Beauty Discovery Box is that they mix the treats up a little. So for example, in the January one we got an edible treat of BBQ pop chips and in the November one we got a packet of granola and in the October one we got a Tangle Teezer! In this February box they treated me to a generous packet of Beyond Dark –Moments of Pleasure Hint of Orange. Tiny little chocolate buttons that were really rich and tasty. I don’t usually do dark chocolate but these were quite moreish!
Overall, another whopping success from the You Beauty Team – role on the next one!
