As I’m in my late twenties I have definitely felt more of a need to look after my skin. I think I’m quite lucky really and my parents have good skin so that’s stayed with me. (Thank you parents!) But my skin has become drier and dare I say it I can see my laughter lines slightly more than I could a few years ago. All of this, along with having an overpowering like of all things beauty, means I am heading to the Anti-Ageing Health & Beauty show this year!
The Anti-Ageing Health & Beauty show is back bigger than ever and will be taking over London Olympia on the weekend of 10th & 11th May 2014. It’s going to be a great weekend for everyone. Whether you have skin care concerns, hair issues, body debates or if you just love beauty and want to be in the ‘know’ then this is for you.
I’ve had a little peak to see what will be there over the weekend so I can plan my day. I can imagine there will be a lot to fit in but here’s a little taste.
Stand & Exhibitors
To name just a few (and I mean a few) – some of the stands and exhibitors include Harper’s Bazaar, Neal’s Yard (who will be letting you sample their products and get a mini facial for just £5!), Nicky Clarke Hairdressing, SK:N, Studio 10 Beauty, Yakult will be handing out free bottles at the event and even Tea-Pigs will be making an appearance.
Speakers & Demonstrations – Meet The Experts
There will be expert presentations over the weekend. Speakers who will be giving an insight in the beauty world. With everything from massage techniques to non-surgical face lifts there will be a presentation for everyone! You might even recognise some familiar faves such as, Linda Barker, Nicky Clarke, Danielle Collins, Dr Sach Mohan, Linda Lusardi and Sophie Anderton just to name a few. If you fancy getting fully involved there will also be Flamenco Fit Classes running over the weekend, which I might just have a go at!
Live Q&A With Beauty Magazine Editors
There will also be an opportunity to meet some incredible magazine beauty editors and ask them on the spot questions. This is pretty exciting and not something that happens often! I’m talking about the likes of Newby Hands, the beauty director of Harper’s Bazaar and editorial director at feelunique.com and Olivia Falcon who was the health and beauty director of Tatler magazine. These are chances that you wouldn’t usually get so think of your questions before hand!
