I have another beauty gem to share with you from my trip to the Anti-Ageing Health and Beauty Show. Ginvera Green Tea Marvel Gel. The Ginvera stand let me try some of this exfoliater on my hand and I actually couldn’t beleive it. The dead skin started coming away but I had my doubts. I thought it might be particles in the gel which formed to make it look like the skin. If this was for real, It was so impressive at the event I had to give it a go and the lovely people at Janiro sent me some to try. To say I was excited is a bit of an understatement but I did wonder if it REALLY worked.

Ginvera Green Tea Marvel Gel is basically a facial exfoliate and it works by dissolving and removing the top layer of dead skin cells.You have to squeeze a small amount on to DRY fingers and gently rub the t zone, cheeks and neck. (Your face has to be dry). It’s nice and easy. I did inspect the gel to see if it had bits in that might look like dead skin, but no, it’s pretty smooth.

I gave it a little massage for around a minute and it was quite amusing. Little bits of dead skin started forming. It was almost like rubbing the sticky label bit off a glass. Little bits of dead wet beads start to form which is a mixture of dead skin and the gel. I am someone who likes to see results and this definitely did that.

I rinsed off with warm water (you can also use cleanser) and I have to say my face was incredibly smooth and so much brighter. I would recommend not leaving the gel on for longer than a minute as it did feel quite intense in the crevices of my nose for example. If I had left it any longer i would have started getting a tingling sensation.

My skin felt so refreshed and clean it was fantastic. I think you can really see the instant difference. My pores look smaller, my skin looks smoother and just clear! I did do a little test and I exfoliated the back of my hand, dried it and used the marvel gel. It didn’t bring up any dead skin or beads. This proves to me that it is actually dead skin that is forming and not some special reaction in the cream. You have to test these things!
Ginvera Marvel Gel is great for blackheads and oily skin as it really gets rid of that top layer holding the dirt and grime. If you want you face to be instantly radiant this definitely does the job. Green Tea is a natural anti-oxidant and it really shows on my skin. The clearness of it and the freshness is probably beyond compare of the majority of facial cleansers I have used. I’ll probably use this once a week, it isn’t abrasive at all and there is no scrubbing required but I like seeing the dead skin come off!
A great result and definitely lived up to my little test at the Anti Ageing Show. It’s great for prepping skin before make up and for making skin feel super clean and looking clear. I would definitely recommend it.
