It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of Birchbox and the fab beauty subscription they have every month. I’ve been a subscriber now for around 8 months and I’m not going to be cancelling anytime soon, I try and review the boxes as often as possible like this one here. Just as the beauty boxes are getting better, the brilliant Birchbox team have also started running events. Not blogger events or secret events, they send out the invites to their subscribers and the tickets are limited but free. Believe me you have to be quick. They disappear before your eyes!

One of the last events they did was an evening with Molton Brown in Central London. The tickets went so fast I was on the waiting list and amazingly the day before a ticket became free and I could go. I guess it was down to the Tube Strikes but luckily enough the tubes I needed were fine. The biggest hassle I had was getting through the crowds waiting to see Kate Moss at her new Topshop launch. The crowds were mahoosive. But I did stand around until I grabbed a brief view of the supermodel and then I swerved my way down Regent Street.

The Molton Brown store was buzzing. I felt like I had walked into a little Spanish Street and then I realised why. Molton Brown were celebrating the 30th anniversary of their first hand care blend.  Orange & Bergamot. There were little orange trees placed decoratively around the shop, chilled drinks were in constant supply and the sun seemed to be shining inside the store. Seville had been brought to London.

The fragrance was everywhere and that was because the lovely Birchbox and Molton Brown ladies were giving guests a free hand massage with some of the products. The orange blossom was gorgeous. They were also celebrating another fragrance which is Rhubarb and Rose. A lovely mix sweetness and floral accents and gorgeous pink packaging to suit.

It was nice to sample the range and to chat with the Molton Brown experts about what was good for my skin. I have to admit I did take the opportunity to buy a couple of birthday presents as some of the gift sets were for a limited time only. You can’t go wrong with a Molton Brown gift set and it’s packaged so nice there’s no wrapping needed on my part! I also treated myself to the Rhubarb and Rose replenishing hand cream.  The fragrance was too nice to ignore.

A big thank you to Birchbox for giving me a little Molton Brown gift set as I headed out the door and another event that lets me see more from the brands that are in my box every month.
