There’s nothing like a little indulgence. Whether it’s a massage, a hot bubble bath or just a new nail polish. Them tiny treats that make all the difference. I like treating myself to an occasional indulgence (or two) and Urban Retreat have made it so much easier to treat myself! Urban Retreat has a lovely Beautique selling lots of must have beauty products and they also have a gorgeous spa in Harrods, London. I might not be able to have a rejuvenating paraffin wax bath every week or a scalp massage as often as I’d like, so I’ve put together a beauty stocking wish list that would give me a little taste of Urban Retreat in my own home! (Although… I think I’ll be booking that scalp massage soon as it’s £35.00 for 25 minute and I hold so much tension in my head and neck! Come one… I deserve it!)
I have to say, all these items are just calling my name! First up the Hourglass lip treatment is everything my lips need to see me through the winter. I’m reaching my thirties and I really want my lips to stay looking full of life, so this is right up my street. The Sisley All Day All Year anti-ageing cream is what I call an essential. The do it all, do it every day kind of cream that almost becomes a second skin. Especially living in London, all the pollution needs some kind of defence!
The Nars velvet gloss lip pencil is just like a spoon waiting to be licked. I just want to see the colour appear and you know Nars is a guaranteed brand that will do its make up magic. The Nars Acapulco candle would bring a little spa mood to my home. This candle has calming vanilla and cocoa powder which would set the right ambience in any room.
Leighton Denny is one of the royalties of nail care. They also do a fab footsore range too and this sole mate foot scrub is like having a pedicure in my own bathroom. It’s supposed to tingle the toes… I want to try! Lastly is the ever luxurious Ambre vanilla scrub from Laura Mercier. Another radiant product that could give me a little spa scrub all to myself. I can imagine it now!
Plus, for the present that doesn’t fit in my stocking, I’d happily indulge in a Lava Shell Massage, some ultimate nail art or just an illuminating facial will do… not that much to ask right?! That’s my little list from the amazing Urban Retreat. It is an exclusive brand but with lots of affordable pieces plus the odd item that would really bring luxury home.
