I don’t know about you but as the warmer weather sets upon us my skin seems to look and feel so dry! I think it’s the cold weather that gives it a beating and I only really notice it when it’s time to flash the flesh!
Pevonia is a skin care range that prides themselves on natural ingredients and professional results. They were the first company to develop a spa skincare line exclusively for high-class spas and spas and professional aestheticians. So they know their stuff. I’d heard some great stuff about their Pevonia Lumafirm Body Firm & Glow moisturiser. I needed something to give my skin some brightness back and if it can firm at the same time it’s a winner!
The bottle itself is pretty unique; I think it’s the first bottle in this shape I have seen. Always a perk to have on the bathroom shelf, it is a little difficult to get out but you just need to give it a tiny squeeze. The cream itself is very light weight and although it’s quite wet on application it absorbs super quick. I hate sticky creams and this cream leaves no residue at all. It feels instantly refreshing and instantly smooth. It’s definitely impressive and my skin looks healthier.
After using the cream for a couple of weeks and it has improved the surface for sure. It just doesn’t look as dry and does have more radiance to it. It absolutely feels luxurious on the skin. My thighs especially which is where I targeted, are smoother, meaning they have firmed up slightly. The fragrance of the cream isn’t really to my taste and stops me from loving it 100%, it’s quite a powdery aroma, which I know some people love, it does smell fresh but I’m more a fruity type of girl.
The think that really sells Pevonia Lumarfirm Body Firm & Glow Moisturiser to me is that it contains no artificial fragrances, no alcohol, no chemical filters, no mineral oil, no lanolin and is non-comedogenic (doesn’t block pores). That’s not all; they are also an Eco-friendly brand; have fully recyclable products and packaging and are non-animal tested! Literally an all-round friendly product. This in relevant to all their products which is really impressive.
I would definitely recommend this for people who really want to quickly improve the appearance and texture of their skin and people who care about what’s in their products. It lives up to expectations by brightening and making my skin look rejuvenated.
