If you haven’t noticed we are in the middle of London Fashion Week 2015. I’ve been following the action on Instagram for the street style shots (they are my fave!) and also for little hints and tips on new season trends. Including hair! I’m sometimes at a bit of a loss with my hair and I kind of have it straight down or shoved up in a somewhat messy ponytail. I LOVE having my hair up because it keeps it neat and out of my face. (And I don’t have to wash my hair!) So when I saw that super smooth, sleek ponytails were on the catwalk and being pushed for next season I gave a secret little fist pump!
Going by the catwalks and behind the scene gossip this sleek look is just day old hair (did you hear that…. Dirty hair!) And some smoothing hair products such as gloss serum, a fine toothcomb and some super shine finishing spray.
After seeing the designers creating sleek side plaits, Hugo Boss showcasing low ponytails with centre partings and Michael Kors using dry shampoo in low slung ponytails it makes me want to make a little more effort with my simple up do.
