I love doing my monthly posts on the products I have finished. I always say it gives me a weird sense of achievement when I get an empty bottle! Odd I know but when you have so many beauty products to get through it feels like an achievement. But going forward I am going to turn my posts into my monthly favourites. So not always finished and who knows what will end up on the list!
My December favourites are a nice little mixed lot.
To start off with the Sam Farmer body wash was used up pretty quickly without even noticing. It’s one of them basic products but one I’m quite fond of. It’s completely unisex and in their own words… made to make you clean! Body washing, not brain washing. Love it! This was so good because it lathered up well and made my skin feel really fresh. Sometimes going back to basics is invigorating. I’ve going to have a look at the rest of their products.
Next up was a sample tub of Charity Pot from Lush. It’s a hand and body lotion which is really mild and is glistening with cocoa butter and almond oil. What’s even better is that Lush give ALL the money from the purchase of this to charity. It was so good that I just went and bought a full size pot and I have just started on it.
I was a fan of Georgia from Benefit the moment it came out and I was gutted when they discontinued it. This has been my favourite face powder for the last 3 years. I bought 3 boxes and this is the end of my third box! (Queue violin music please) I am now on the hunt for a similar face powder that offers a radiant glow but without the coverage of a foundation powder. Any recommendations?
Last but not least my lovely Honey from Marc Jacobs. All done and dusted but not to fear because I got another bottle for Christmas. Perfect timing.
What products made your December favourites list? Let me know any recommendations for face powder too!
