Who doesn’t love a good cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate? Well, something looks and works like this Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine , there really is nothing better. This NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Movenzo coffee machine arrived just in time for Christmas day and instead of me being able to write about it, I ended up in labour giving birth to our little boy. But, we’re now home and this super quick coffee machine is a bit of a god send to be honest! Dolce Gusto are experts in the art of creating delicious coffee, but the hot chocolate is just divine. I mean seriously smooth and chocolaty. This is a stylish automatic pod coffee machine and I’m getting goose bumps just thinking about it. I guess the thing thats stopped me getting one before is because they seemed like such a hassle compared to jut boiling a kettle. But this machine, well, I’ll break it down for you.
I hate setting anything up to begin with. I literally wish everything could arrive assembled and ready to go. When I opened the box I was pleased to see that assembly was minimal. There were only a few parts and the instructions were super simple.
It took me less than 5 minutes to put together and it really wasn’t as scary as it looked. I followed the instructions to give it an initial clean and before I knew it we were good to go with the real coffee. I love that they include a few coffee pods for you to try straight away. If setting up new technology is what puts you off, this is minimal, no in depth knowledge or reading needed and the instructions are in picture format which actually makes a lot more sense!
The machine is super aesthetically pleasing. It looks like something from another planet to be honest. It’s sleek and stylish, really minimal and although it’s large it really is far from invasive in a small space. It almost looks like a large shell and really is quite a stunning design piece. The Movenza is a one button machine, where you touch the top and it opens up in front of you. (Fab for one handed coffee making with baby bottle in the other!) It isn’t fiddly in the slightest which is always a good thing for that first blurry eyed morning cuppa!
Making a hot drink is super simple, Just slide in a pod, select your beverage size with the touch of a finger on the front of the machine (those green lights tell you everything you need to know and the quick start guide tells you exactly what to press for each type of beverage), and go! The machine does its magic and creates a silky smooth drink and the perfect temperature!
on our first try we made a latter for my mum and a hot chocolate for myself. Both were amazing, no need for takeaway hot drinks again, I’ll just make one of these and pop into a flask. Plus, if anyone comes around for a hot drink, I dare them not to be impressed when I walk in with a coffee or hot chocolate looking and tasting like this!
The pods are easy to buy at most supermarkets and online. They are pretty reasonable too especially if you compare it to a coffee shop! You’ll be saving a fortune. I understand why will.i.am partnered with Nescafé Dolce Gusto to reinvent a classic. He did it in music format, Nescafé did it in coffee machine format and it totally works.
