We’re trying to include more natural food in our home cooking and snacks. I’ve noticed a massive difference in how I feel when we swap products around and cook from scratch. My energy levels increase and I generally feel like I have more get up and go. The one thing I struggle with though is snacks. I’m a crisps fend and a chocoholic! I’ll admit it! But I need to find all-natural snacks that I actually like. It’s a bit like retraining your tastebuds and your brain a little. But it’s easier said than done. (especially if you’re lacking in time like I am!)
We decided to give the vegan hampers from Yumbles a try! There’s a massive selection of hampers to choose from with all different types of foods. From sweet to savoury and everything in-between. It’s a great way to try a load of things at once and it’s also a fab present to send in the post! If you’re wondering how to start eating naturally, a hamper like this is perfect for you.
Our Vegan hamper came from The Goodness Project and was wrapped in a lovely little box. Ours included:
- Origin Earth Gluten-free Crispy Bread Crackers (150g)
- The Raw Chocolate Company Chocolate Covered Mulberries Pack (28g)
- Nature’s Health Nice & Nobbly Gluten-Free Granola (312g)
- Booja-Booja Salted Caramel Truffles (25g)
- IQ Superfood Chocolate Lusciously Lovely Lime (35g)
- Rawbite Vanilla Berries Fruit & Nut Bar (50g)
- Olive Branch Red Pepper Mezze Dip (190g)
- Trek Cacao Chaos Protein Bar (55g)
- 2 x Get Fruity Fruity Flapjack (35g)
I was surprised at how much was actually in the hamper and the sizes were great too. Everything was full size and I feel like it was a great deal. I loved the chocolate covered mulberries (so did Cameo!) and the caramel truffles were probably the best all-natural chocolate I’ve ever had. It can be hard to get all the vitamins and minerals you need when you’re vegan. This is great if you’re wondering how to get more protein as a vegan.
The crackers and Mezze Dip was perfect for my sweet tooth (we actually got another dip to the one one on the list) but it was just as lovely.
One of the additional things we added on was a chocolate fudge brownie mix. I told you I’m a bit of a chocoholic so it was worth giving this a go too! All we had to add was 2 eggs and everything else was included. It’s not a vegan mix but it is gluten-free, dairy-free and kid-friendly too!
We loved browsing all the new goodies on Yumbles. There’s so much to explore and to keep us experimenting with all-natural food. It actually quite exciting getting a little hamper in the post Even if you buy it for yourself, it’s like a gift to the family! From ingredients to cook at home to little snacks, we can’t wait to order some more bits and see what else gets tickling our tastebuds.
