I love hot chocolate. I’m not a connoisseur but I know a good hot chocolate from a bad one. I know the exact way of making the perfect cup of choccy and my formula never fails! There’s something so comforting about a big mug of hot drink that it gives me the same feeling as getting into a hot bath. We all need a little downtime, and hot chocolate really does give me a great bit of self-care time.
I recently tried Hotties Chocolate. An independent hot chocolate business that is on a mission to make the world’s best hot chocolate while spreading love one mug at a time. How can you not love that? Their chocolate is made here in the UK using ethically sourced cocoa beans. Their hot chocolate grains are actually real chocolate making it creamier, richer and more luxurious than those made with cocoa powder. It tastes more chocolatey! I love that they’re an independent small business making amazing hot chocolate.
I tried the standard hot chocolate which is ultimately my favourite (you can’t beat a classic) and then I’ve tried the Smore’s which is a bit like a marshmallow hot chocolate. Sweet and creamy, just delicious! Each gorgeously pink 250g packet gives you plenty of servings depending on how rich you like your hot chocolate. There’s also a chocolate orange version which is also Vegan friendly which is next on my list to try!
