You’ll probably be fully aware that I’m well into my pregnancy now (35 weeks to be exact!) and the mornings are getting harder! Mainly due to the lack of sleep from having to use the bathroom every couple of hours along with feeling like a turtle stuck on m back! (But it’s a great experience trust me!) So trying to grab some breakfast on can be a bit of a challenge. It’s something that can’t be skipped either. I used to be able to hang on until lunch or grab a quick snack late morning. Not any more. If I don’t have something to eat for breakfast… I am HUNGRY! So, I decided to give belVita Breakfast Biscuits a try. A simple, quick way to grab breakfast and keep the hunger at bay for a few hours at least!

I thought I would struggle with belVita because my mind is telling me that I’m eating biscuits at 7am that should be dunked in tea. But after having a look at some recipe suggestions I found an idea that is totally up my street. It’s super fresh, filling and REALLY tasty. Plus I can pop it all together in a tub and take it to work. The simple belVita way for me is a small bowl of Greek yogurt, strawberries and a small teaspoon of honey. I then basically use my Belvita like a spoon (or break it up and pop it in my Tupperware) and there you have it. It’s so tasty, especially if you use the Blueberry belVita. (Next on my list is to try the chocolate ones!)

The slow release of energy lasts around 4 hours so 4 biscuits in the morning with some berries and yogurts can see me through until a midday lunch. Especially if it’s a busy day. Plus, I feel like I’ve eaten good food, nothing too stodgy that makes me want to go back to bed. (I feel like that naturally at the moment!)
