There are also nursing pillows to allow you to get your baby in the perfect position to feed that is comfortable for both you and them.
Let your guests buy you the practical things associated with feeding time and either buy the pump yourself or entrust a close friend or relative to get one for you.
2 – Controversial clothing
There are people that love to use their baby’s clothes as a political statement or some kind of opinion. Some of the opinions can be quite controversial and are mainly used to stir up a debate or argument. Although you are free to dress your baby however you see fit, leave those types of clothing articles off of the registry.
Some of the people that are doing the shopping for you will be offended by the clothing. Even those that may agree with the sentiment will not want to be a part of stirring the pot and will wonder what your motivation is by putting items like that on the list.
You can definitely dress your baby with controversial slogans if you don’t mind the controversy, but buy those clothes yourself so you don’t cause any drama when it comes to your baby shower.
3 – Gimmicks
Gimmicks are going to waste people’s money and take up precious spots on the registry for the things you truly need. Avoid things like cell phone cases with your baby’s picture, matching accessories with your own, and other frivolous items that won’t help you when it comes to preparing for the baby. Keep the list practical and you’ll be doing yourself a favor.
