Now that lockdown restrictions are starting to lift it feels like the world is our oyster when it comes to eating out. I have missed eating out so much! Being able to socialise, not do the washing up and having tasty food has been so missed.

During the lockdown, lots of things changed, and many of us had to rethink how we work and earn a living. Luckily, digital spaces opened up and opportunities gave people a lifeline. Now the world has changed again, so if you get your wage in a USD bank account you can convert it for restaurants here.

What’s really nice is that so many places now have out outdoor seating! I do love eating al fresco, it just gives me holiday vibes, even in winter! But now, it seems the list of places to eat in the UK is endless. But don’t worry! Here are my top restaurants with outdoor seating in the UK.

Palm Chester

Palm is Chester’s most fashionable independent food and drink location. By day, Palm is a foodie’s paradise, and their kitchen serves sweet and savoury treats, and even hosts a Bottomless Brunch every Sunday. By night it’s a cocktail lovers dream. Their pastel outdoor seating area was made for Instagram and their pink flower-adorned tables are super cute. This place is going to be booked right up with Christmas Parties so make sure you get in there early if you want to host a special occasion this year.  A must-have for your Chester trip!

The Radcliffe

If you’re heading to the East Midlands any time soon, The Radcliffe is a must-visit. At first, it might seem like a lovely village pub, but the attention to detail and stunning menu turns this into a gourmet restaurant. The Radcliffe boasts two beautiful sun trap garden terraces which really are lovely to eat dinner on, a fire pit, an outside bar and a huge garden with a children’s play frame. It’s like being on holiday but in Nottingham!

The Dorchester Rooftop

This wouldn’t be a decent article if it didn’t include at least one London rooftop terrace! The Dorchester rooftop is memorable, to say the least. With views across London, live music and even blankets for when it gets chilly, this is the life of luxury before you’ve even looked at the elegant menu! Again, this is a popular venue, so booking ahead through somewhere like Square Meal is always a good idea. You don’t want to be disappointed!

The Laundry

The saying about never putting your dirty laundry out to dry goes out the window here! The Laundry in Brixton, South London, has a super chilled out terrace which is great for catching up with friends over good casual food. There are umbrellas and heated blankets (The Dorchester who?!) and the staff really are fab here! It’s a large area too so it has a great vibe to it, especially on weekends. Work drinks are a must have here!
