A couple of weeks ago I had a lovely meeting with some fellow bloggers and The Curve Fashion Festival Team. It was a gorgeous day, I mean seriously sunny and not jacket required. It wasn’t hot but it was warm, the perfect weather for me if I’m honest. I was so happy that it finally gave me the chance to wear one of my new favourite tops from Lovedrobe. It’s a real ‘me’ kind of top. Floaty and floral but with a little twist to it. I’m loving the festival vibes coming out right now and this fits really well into it. Having a baby a few months ago means I’m still getting back on track of feeling myself and learning to dress my postpartum body all over again and I’ve realised tops like this really work for me!
It’s a tie neck, truffle hem blouse tie neck, truffle hem blouse that is actually pretty generous in sizing for a change. I’ve always found Lovedrobe a bit small but they’ve really picked up their sizing which is great news. I love that it’s floaty without being frumpy. There is definitely a fine line. It’s perfect for spring days and summer evenings as it’s bright print welcomes the sun and the long sleeves protect from the chill. It’s one of those tops I can put on and instantly feel great. It’s taken a while but I cherish pieces like this now!
We had our lunch meeting over hot chocolate, ice teas and some seriously scrumptious cake at the Insta famous Peggy Porshen Parlour in Londons Belgravia. It’s a pink haven that serves some of the best hot chocolate I’ve had and some of the richest chocolate cake I’ve tried. It’s pretty special and it was lovely to chat about all things fashion and food with some lovely people. I’m so glad I wore this top because it meant I wasn’t bogged down with a jacket and it really was perfect for the in between weather we were (and still are!) having! I wore it really casually with some skinny jeans and rose gold pumps. A real get up and go weekend outfit.
Lovedrobe has so much available right now that’s ticking my style box. Lights of bright florals, floaty cuts and really pretty pieces. I could easily fill my wardrobe with 6 or 7 piece after just a quick browse. They’ve really upped their style game for casual wear and I love it. This top also comes in a light blue which would be perfect as the weather warms up. If it ever does! I can’t wait to head here with Baby C and my mum while I’m still on maternity leave. It hosts serious chill out vibes and who doesn’t want to sit in a pink palace eating cake?!
