Baby C is just over 6 weeks old now and things are still new and having a baby is a massive learning curve. A good one, but challenging. I’ll tell you my birth story once I’ve finished writing it but to cut a long story short I could only breastfeed for a short amount of time. It felt quite traumatic not being able to for numerous reasons but it’s just one of those things. Obviously, not just with breastfeeding but with pregnancy in general, your nipples can become dry, chapped and generally just sore! (Uncomfortable to say the least) When I was pregnant, my nipples were really sore and even after breast-feeding for just a short time they were delicate. It’s a whole knew world when it comes to being a first time mum and generally I decided to ride solo when it came to any kind of medicines or products to help. I didn’t know what was safe and I generally wasn’t sure what was normal. But one thing is for sure. Sore nipples are definitely normal!
After giving Venosure Luxe BreatBalm a go it really did help. I always find that balms work better than creams or gels. You only need a small amount and it’s not incredibly greasy. It’s absorbed quickly (which means no sticky boobs!) and helps bring some nourishment and softness back to your nipples and breasts with safe ingredients. I personally found that my nipples were a little softer making them less sore and sorry if this puts you off your dinner but were a little less crusty after stopping breast-feeding. I’m sure the mums reading will understand! If you are still breastfeeding, just smooth into your skin after feeding.
Venosure Luxe BreastBalm only has a few ingredients. Shea butter, beeswax, sunflower seed oil, vitamin E Oil and Rosehip oil. None of the clog the pores and they all help to soothe and protect the skin. I have a secret and also use it on Baby C’s hands and toes because that’s where he gets the driest skin and this works a treat. I don’t have to worry about it damaging his skin or drying it out even more. It comes in a perfect size tub to pop in your bag or leave on the changing table. It’s nice to have a company that cares about the mum as well as the baby! These little things can make a huge difference to how you feel as a mum and as a woman.
I’d recommend this to any mum to be, new mum or if you’re looking for something useful to add to a baby shower gift basket, this will be one of them YES products!
