Easter is almost upon us (hooray for bank holidays!) And as seems to be the norm the chocolate egg has made an appearance. I don’t know about you but I’ve seen so many lovely Easter things around lately that I think it’s time to shake thing up a bit with some alternative Easter gifts. I’ve found some lovely pieces from TK Maxx that would make a lovely change to the standard Easter egg. (I’d still like the chocolate too may I add!)
I popped into TK Maxx over the weekend to pick up some bits for Baby C. I LOVE their baby clothes. They are really affordable and I always find some lovely pieces. Of course, me being me I couldn’t help but look at the home ware and there are some gorgeous pieces around for Easter. Now we have Baby C, in a couple of years I can imagine we’ll be doing Easter egg hunts and all sorts. I picked up this little picture spring block which I think is so cute and it was only a couple of pounds. It’s a lovely gift for Easter or just a nice piece to freshen the house up for spring. I love that TK Maxx and sister brand Homesense offer some great brands and generally fabulous stuff at up to 60% less. I mean I can’t complain about that!
There are so many great things you could get as an alternative Easter gift. TK Maxx is literally brimming with weird and wonderful items. I’ve chosen a few of my favourite pieces below, all available online now. I have to say that the rabbit table lamp is one of my favourite pieces. It’s just amazing! Then the Beatrix Potter books are a fab alternative children’s gift. It’s a set of 4 classic books and it’s only £7.99! Also, a quick mention to the Portmeiron pink round roasting dish. It’s actually beautiful. If you’re going to an Easter lunch this weekend and someone is cooking up a massive storm for you. The least you can do is to help out with the cookware. I’d prefer this to a bottle of wine anyway. I’m serious!
For the traditional folk, fear not. TK Maxx still has you covered when it comes to the chocolate fix. As you can see from the above, there’s so much on offer it’s going to be hard to choose this years Easter gifts!
